Early word as we were packing up, the countdown had already begun for next year. So, yes, the plan is to return again next year. Hope to see you there.

The Boogie was down about another 100 folks from last year with probably about 225+ give or take registered jumpers and non jumpers this year. It was a very safe event as I can only recall one cutaway the entire Boogie and no injuries. I showed up actually on Sunday night and setup the complex that Monday morning a week before Labor Day. The Bardstown Complex grew in size as we about doubled our size under our covering. We spent Tuesday making 425+ Jello shots for Friday and Saturday night and had a theme for Saturday. The entire Btwn Gang dressed in scrubs or lab coats with head gear, masks, foot coverings for Operation Jello. We had two surprise birthday parties on Saturday night (Rhonda and Tee) and nailed them with silly string and more. Then at the bonfire, while administering the shots, we nailed Rusty Latta with about 24 cans of Redi Whip in a suprise attack to "congratulate" him on his 7,000th skydive that took place with an 18-way earlier in the day. The menu each night was awesome once again (steaks, chicken, brats, smoked turkey, and more) and we probably had 30+ folks there from Btwn again. Weather was great the entire time for a big change in years, as the jumping took place sunrise to sunset Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday without any weather delays. A nice breeze throughout and clear skies all weekend long with mild nights at the bonfire with good music. Oh, and of course, the evenings brought with it the standard set of limited clothing from several well lubricated skydivers. There are several of the standard stories, but those are better saved for word of my than in print. All in all, a standard great time and what happens in Richmond...........is repeated in Richmond the following year! Later Girl!
