Anyways.... yah I did a bit of tandems (propably about 10 or so... ) but now am doing static line.
Its working great to date.
actually got back from the DZ about 6 hrs ago...
but it looks like I have to get my butt up there to get the stuff, wash it all
so might as well stay at the DZ for a while.. n jump off that leash again...
i got plans for some good jump later on ...
one alone and another one with Angus..
with him it will be head down tandem.. we just need to find a vidiot who can keep up with 300 lbs head down!
did two tandems last weekend, focussing on 360's in FF, and canopy control, a bit of agressive turns high altitude.
Nice landings both times.
This weekend, it's supposed to be hot, muggy and sunny tomorrow (although looking at the fog/rain out there it's difficult to see it, 24 hrs from now and 4hrs South).
I've talked to my coach, about my thoughts.
He has replied by, he is thinking about my words, and thinking of how to reply.
i only think it is basic honesty necessary of me to tell him,
so he knows and has the option to say 'no -i'm not going to be the one teaching you those canopy skills if your going to ever BASE'.
he's thinking of it all,
while we dive this weekend, providing these slots in the plane for me and the weather cooperates.
i'll be doing the same, working on 360's and accuracy for landing.
this is pretty tough...
I was able to do it! I did my first AFF on Sat. April 26th.
Photos and video will take a while to organize, since my laptop crashed Sun night..... :(
BUT I jumped from 11,000f had stability ...a bit of backsliding though due to my lazy-legs (or was that gimp-legs lol) so I need to learn to compensate a bit more with my arms/hands.
I landed IN THE BOWL (under radio ofcourse) .. It fel't good to be told by a DZ owner who was on the radio tell me that of decades of first AFF student's on radio I responded to everything he said, and landed in the bowl about 10 feet from him.
got to go, public computer costs $$... CYA!
