Going for a fly in the Cessna would be awesome, I used to go up with my dad all the time when I was yonger. And I figured out a way to deal with the money so I am scheduled to start my Rotor training on the 28th, so assuming everything goes according to plan I can give you a ride in a chopper by the end of the summer.

I'm headed to greensboro in like 5 minutes to finish getting everything out of the house (its sold and the closing date is next wednesday!) so I'm hoping to get it all done tonight - if it looks like I can get up there, I might come on up tonight, but I'll be up there tomorrow day at the latest. Not sure about dave, it'll depend on how much work he still has to do - he's behind thanks to trying to help me move all my crap in!! :-P If you are up there tonight, keep an eye out for a Christie and her boyfriend from New York. They should get into town tonight and be here all weekend...

Eric, very cool photo on your page if that's you. My question is how do you learn to swoop and land like that? I'm a north shore skydiver from hawaii but am curious as to the best way to learn this art form and not get smoked on a low turn.
regards

I was going to do the rotary when i was in NC this summer, but unfortunately the repayments on the loan I would need are to high for me to afford right now, so I will have to do it after I graduate unfortunately. I might still do a couple flight hours if I have a bit of extra cash lying around.

You coming back to NC this summer?
