The cool thing about the NY DZ is they jump all year, even in the freezing winter and in February we jump onto a frozen lake at the Winter Fest (Lake George). It's one mile by 30 miles, so it's almost impossible to land out! And I am pretty sure it is the largest DZ in the world (for only one month a year) and the plane takes off from the ice and there are always hundreds of spectators. It's a great time!!!
Would you jump in the cold weather?
Do you have your own gear?
I am from southern Vermont, right near New York and Massachusetts (I can see NY from my house and MA is only a few minutes to drive!). I started jumping near Albany, NY and now I jump mostly in Mass, at Jumptown.
This weather is not cool though!!!
Not bad! Do you have your B? Whoa, Eloy! and you didn't jump there?
Damn, what would we do without this sport?
Have you been jumping long?
