I can tell you VFS is alive and well in Canada -- well progressing I should say. There are 2 teams that competed at Provincials and I foresee more in the future. Go Canada!!

The first "Where's Mandarin meet" vrw meet was a great success this weekend @ skydive Arizona. There were 8 teams registered, however only 7 competed due to a sick team member. There were 4 open teams and 3 advanced. The event was judged by nationals chief judge Judy Celya, Tim Wagner, and Gary. (sorry Gary I don't know your last name) all of whom are fs judges. There were prizes for first, second, third that included, tunnel time, $cash$, and homemade cookies and brownies. As well as discounts from Ouragan suits, square 2 gear shop, the bent prop and probably more that I am forgetting. As for the standings, in the advanced category team Frostbacks came in third, team Blur in second, and Elsinore Jedi in first. In the open category, team 9DAG fourth, Outbreak third, Paraclete Hybrid XP second, and Arizona Arsenal first. The meet was great and Arizona Arsenal would like to thank all of the teams who showed up, the judges, and sponsors of this event as well as skydive AZ and Skyventure AZ. This info may need some corrections but I think I got most of it right. See ya at the next one at Skydive Elsinore June 14 & 15.
