Hello - it's nice to meet you all. Nobody wants to be a member of the Heavy Metal Club, which I joined in 1996. I have bilateral medial femoral rods, some hardware restructuring my left hip and some intracranial adornments. That landing was rough.

Broke my left fibula last September. Foot went in a hole on a fast landing. Have a plate, pin and 6 screws. Joining because my freefly bff just broke the same ankle and is worried about coming back. I came back and I want her to see all the others that came back from more.

Well back in the air again. It was the best weekend ever. I was able to jump again and it was made even better because I was able to jump with my son for the first time (it is worth the round of beer). I missed jumping so bad and now the universe is back in alignment.

On my 25th jump broke my right tib/fib and have plate and 6 screws. Had to wait to get my "A" license. working on my "B" now. To non-skydivers they think we're crazy to come back after our injuries. We know better, its just reinforcements. Glad to meet all of you-Blue skies!!

Hi everyone.

I am officially a cyborg and here are my credentials (http://members.cox.net/22liam22/main.htm). Good to be a part of the group. ;-)

Blue skies.

I'm not sporting any hardware, but I suffered compression fractures to T-3 and T-4 last March 4th on a hard opening. Spent 3 days in hospital, and 4 1/2 months on the ground. I'm glad to be back, but I sold the parachute, got dakron lines installed on the current one, and I stow my lines NICE AND TIGHT!!! I'd rather have bag-lock than line-dump again! OUCH!!! :-(
