Ok, so it wasn't Mission Bay, but it WAS sweet! I especially loved the skydiving!!! Winds were strong on Sunday and the swoopers did a great job landing onto such a small, congested patch of grass between the jetties. How 'bout that boat landing?! The airshow w/ the helicopters, jets and water rescue was impressive! This was my first time at the races and I was blown away. Very exciting. Next year we'll have to get there a lot earlier to secure a "standing" spot closer to the water's edge. Cool!

Results of the race yesterday: 1st place Paul Bonhomme 2nd place Mike Mangold and 3rd place Kirby Chambliss
The finals were so close....very exciting!!!!!

I'm planning to be at the finals next Sunday, at Mission Bay in San Diego. It's to celebrate my son's 11th b-day. I can't wait! Gonna be sooooo kool! :-)
