Please help if you can! My mother-in-law and I want to run in the 1/2 marathon on December 6 in Las Vegas to support the Chrone's and Colitis Foundation. My mother-in-law is and has been a victim to this disease for too long. This is our first 1/2 marathon - 1st running event ever for me...She has pledged $2900 to the cause - now we need your help to raise $3900! Hi, it is Debbie Kelly and I am going to be running a 1/2 marathon (my first running event EVER) to rasie money to help those suffering from Crohn's and Colitis disease. We are hoping to raise funds for patient care as well as to fund research in the hope of finding a cure. I have had this insidious disease since 1989 and virtually lost over 6 years of my life while they were trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I also lost one of my best friends from California to complications due to her Crohn's disease. Please help me and 1.4 million Americans right now with this debilitating disease. Since my surgery to remove portions of my intestines - I have been pretty good as many of you know - but there are many out there (lots of children) who are really in bad shape. Please help. Any amount is helpful and very much appreciated. Keep me in your thoughts as I begin training for the 13.1 mile race that will take place in December in Las Vegas.
